Close 1 Year Work Experience

I am here under an 2 Year IEC, ending 28th of October 2020.
I have been working in Canada from the 4th of December 2018 to the 5th of December 2019.
This was a Class A position, full-time, permanent position.

Sadly I was laid off, and couldn't find a suitable position until last month.
I start the first day of that new Class A position tomorrow.

I have received ITA a couple days ago, and have not accepted yet.

I am wondering, if the above 4th of December 2018 to 5th of December 2019, is too tight of a work experience window?
It is technically 1 year's work experience in Canada.
Should, I reject the ITA, work an extra month at my new job, and hope to be selected in another month or two?

If you worked at least 30 hours each week, then you have 1 year of work experience in Canada and I personally see no issues in proceeding with this ITA.

For sure, 40 hours a week.

OK, I feel that I am getting by, by the skin of my teeth.
That I don't want to open myself up to a finicky officer, that might reject it.
So, for example, I took 5 sick days.
Most won't care about this, but is there a possibility someone would care about that?

Hypothetically, if I wanted to just work a couple of weeks or a month at my new job, and have that included in my application, would I need to reject the invite and go back into the pool?

I am doing this, to basically give myself peace of mind here.

Yeah, I was paid for sick days and vacation.

I agree with scylla. You don't need to wait. You have the one year of experience.

If you really want the extra work time, you don't need to decline the current ITA. Just work the extra time and then submit your PR app.

OK, and I suppose, since it is early times, all I would need is the first payslip and a letter from the new employer?
