Dear Friends
I am going to apply online for visitor visa for my parents. My brother apply to sponsor them before and he received a letter from immigration which on it there is a client ID # , I found that this client id is for my brother. I have a question : in online application for visitor visa for registering for MyCIC , they ask do you have a client ID , YES or NO , I do not know should I choose yes or no , this time in visitor visa application my father is the main applicant. should I choose yes?
thank you in advance

Was there any further correspondence with CIC when your brother sponsored them? It might have your parents UCI on it. If you can't find it, it's not that big a deal. Just select No.

Dear dotmatrix
I found that this client id is for my brother , it is on his pr card, but I ask a lawyer she said you choose yes. but I think she made a mistake. and I choose no as you said. my brother sponsorship does not finalize so my parents application does not start yet. Do you think should I choose yes or no?

It really isn't that big a deal. If you you know their client ID, then put in yes. Otherwise select No. Another advice is that you can call CIC call centre and ask for their suggestion
