Clarification on Inland Spouse Sponsorship

Friends,

If a spouse is on dependent open work permit of TFW, and the TFW applied alone and got his PR, how the inland spousal sponsorship for PR works? What will happen to spouse dependent open work permit status till the time of submitting sponsorship , since her partner got his PR? And her dependent open work permit is valid for one more year.

Any one who went through on similar boat shed some light around?

The work permit will remain valid.
