Hi.

I just need a simple clarification. The thing is that I have applied for visitor status withing Canada in July. Recently I have received an update from CIC stating that my application has been approved and in my CIC account there is a message "In Canada approval letter" which states that "Your application to remain in Canada as a temporary resident has been approved. A secure document has been mailed to you at the address that you provided when you made your application. If you have not received your secure document within six weeks, contact CIC."

What confuses me is the validity of this document. The validity of this document ("In Canada approval letter") is one day after I have received it. For example, I got an approval from CIC on Sep 16, and the validity of this document is Sep 17. What does it mean? That you have to leave Canada within less that a day?

Also, what do they refer under "secure document"? Does it mean that I have to wait for visa to reach me by mail?
