Citizenship Test status not updated

My husband took his citizenship test last Sept 28, 2021 but unfortunately failed the test. It's been 2 months that we are waiting for his 2nd test invitation. I have read on some facebook forums that even if you failed the test, the status should be completed meaning you did the test whether you pass or fail. My husband situation is different. He did the test yet failed but the last update on status tracker is Citizenship test in process, Scheduled for Citizenship test is the last update.

If you have any insights if this is normal please share your experience. We applied as family and my application is not moving anymore very frustrating .

In our case my wife failed her test in first attempt .so here what she did in her case - Send an email to Scheduling department for schedule test for 2nd attempt (email address mentioned in your test invite) . In our case it took 12 weeks for 2nd invite . she passed in her 2nd attempt .

Thank you for sharing your experience. We did sent an email too bu their response is always the same that they cannot provide a timeline for our application and just check the inbox constantly.

Did you wife's Citizenship Test status updated after she took her 1st test even if she failed? For my husband's case, the status was never updated it still shows in progress up to this date.
