My mother took the written citizenship exam 2 times but unfortunately she failed both the written and the english proof exam.
Then a year later she received a notice that she was to meet with a Citizenship judge for an oral test (this was may 2015) after this oral test we never received a response from CIC, now in May 2016 she is receiving another letter that she is to have another citizenship interview (oral exam) with an immigration office or judge.
Anyone know what we can expect in this 2nd oral exam, would it be much different from the 1st.
What is the best way to prepare.
Thank You

Best thing she can do is to practice English oral skills little hard and study DISCOVER CANADA booklet. Judge has full discretion and if somehow she can prove her knowledge about Canada and can communicate with Judge in understandable manner, that interview can be a game changer for her good.

How old is she? Maybe it is better to wait up to new (old) citizenship rules will be effective and submit a new application under that rules (age 18-54)?
