Citizenship interview went well then asked for fingerprints ??????

I had the Canadian Immigration exam yesterday passed on all questions. Did an interview with an agent and was told they sent me the day before a digital fingerprint request. I did not get a date to say the oath. On the site it said we will get a date after the exam. Why am I being asked to these fingerprints i did them when I got my PR card 10 years ago????
