Citizenship fee validity

Hello All,

How long is the citizenship payment fee receipt valid for? I am signing my application early next month. Can I pay the fee a week/two weeks before I sign the application? Is there a validity period for the fee? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the website.

It stays valid until any big change happens like this.

It technically doesn't expire and you can claim a refund anytime as the receiver is Govt. of Canada. So to answer your question, a few weeks or months would be completely fine. Good Luck!
