I received my AOR at the end of August.
I have resided in Canada since 2003
I am aged over 55 years old and I dont have to sit citizenship test because of that.
My question is this. We are aware that because of covid and the suspension of testing. Would my application also be put on hold while testing is caught up or do you think or know I would be moved forward ?

no doubt persons above 55 are exempted from the knowledge test but they have to face an interview with the officer so I think you have to wait for this along with the other persons.

I like yourself am over the age of 55 and do not have to take the knowledge test BUT we still have do the interview portion and that has been suspended because of Covid. I applied for citizenship in July 2019 and have been in process since November of 2019. Still waiting and I have called IRCC and they have no idea when interviews and tests will be done again.

I've heard rumours of attempts to do interviews online Not sure how that would work... Guess it depends on the questioning etc
