so we all send to Nova Scotia first (stage 1) and then it gets forwarded to the office depending on our location (processing office, stage 2); am i right? anyone knows if some offices are faster or slower and which?
long time ago the offices in quebec were much slower than ontario for example, hope it's not the case anymore

Correct. Now it is a silent wait for the Acknowledgment Of Receive email (AOR).
As of today, the date for an AOR is around 35-40 days.It is true that some offices are faster than others, as they deal with different volume of applications. However, no one knows how this timeline will be affected by the vast number of applicants this month.

Update: just checked Canada Post again and it was delivered today, oct 16 at 9am yay the only thing is that the signature was optional and nobody signed; should i be worried?

good point, the original oct spreadsheet already has more than 100 entries

I replied to this earlier and also in the first post. By the end of the month, there will be hundreds of people posting in those threads that you just mentioned. Tracking any updates will be a nightmare. This thread is an attempt to limit the numbers. Cheers.

Let me know your details and I'll add you. Did you add an explanation letter in your second application? In the form there is a question in the beginning asking if you have applied before?
