Almost all questions should be answered for the full 'eligibility period', which for you starts from 12/10/2012. So for question 11, you will need to mention what you were doing from 12/10/2012. Question 9(c) is a bit confusing one for other scenarios. However, in your case, I think you will select YES as you were living outside of Canada from 12/10/2012 to 15/08/2013. As such, you will need to fill out the additional form and attach.

I didn't list the two months before I came to Canada, though it was counted in eligibility period. Just feel listing my home country as "destination" sounds weird. Hope it won't get returned......

I spent more than 183 days outside .. it says to state which country beside the countrY IF YOU CANT provide PC .. write an Explanation ..
But if I have the PC already what should I say in the Explanation ?!! reasons for vacations are already explained in the physical calculator ..
what should I write in the Explanation ?

- leave Explanation blank
OR
- Write N/A
OR
- say it is already explained in the calculator
OR
- Say I have the PC provided with the application ?

in Minor checklist they asking for a "Photocopy of documentation proving you are the person with custody of the minor or are legally empowered to act on the minor's behalf"
I am applying for my daughter. should I give a proof that I am her father? which document? nothing mentioned in guideline about this

No need to send a cover letter unless you want to explain some sort of detail about your application. Better to keep it short and simple.

As I will filling for five members of my family in one bundle, can i staple each application form with relevant supporting documents or stapling is not allowed? Also, what the best way to send the photograph as we cannot glue or staple it? Do we have to write person's name in the back of the photo?

I did send a cover letter saying: Dear IRCC this is a family application package for Canadian citizenship (2 adults) and wrote our names. That;s it. I just wanted to advise them that there are two applications within just in case.

if I had temporary work permit and then made a refugee claim before my work permit expired, do I lose the time I still had on my work permit?

in other words, does refugee claim application trump any valid status I had that time? I am confused because I am trying to calculate my time accurately for citizenship

You were a temporary worker until your refugee claim was approved, so if I were you I would write the following in the form:

First status: the status you had to enter Canada (visitor visa?)

Second status: worker (write the date your temporary work permit was issued before a final decision was made on your refugee claim), the end date of your worker status must be the date on which your refugee was approved.

third status: refugee (write the date your refugee was approved and the end date will be when you became a PR)
