I apply for citizenship in December 2017 & it is still in process. Is there anyone who is dealing with same issue?

Were fingerprints requested for you? If so, then its a non routine case and 12 months processing time does not apply
My suggestion is apply for GCMS notes and see what it says. Also call helpline and see what the hold up is:

- As per notes on file dating from October 2019, the file is under review because it requires further verifications. Rest assured that the responsible office will inform the applicant, if they have to provide further details.
- The criminality verifications are currently valid.
- The security verifications are currently valid.
- The applicant has passed the Citizenship test on September 2018.
- Because the application is non-routine, there is no specific processing time to finalize it. Rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient processing of the application.
