Exactly don't know. They are revamping the whole process now. After the recent cracking down on citizenship frauds I believe they now put a much better quality control i.e. including active sources to verify what you are saying on paper is true. Earlier they relied totally on us, what we put on our applications until they found some thing odd out and get back to you with RQ or more documents etc...

This case is only the beginning. The RCMP has targeted about 11,000 people from more than 100 countries suspected of fraud by misrepresenting their residency in Canada.

Thanks for the nice advise. So why did they change the form silently? Did they realise it was a mistake, bcoz no mention of work records in the GUIDE.

You're welcome. I don't think it was a mistake. That clause of work records was not there when I applied for citizenship years back. It came recently; may be four or five years back.

So it means we do not need to send t4s and record of employments, shall we still send the notice of assessments? And one more question , do we need to send job offer letter if I start a new job a few days before or a few days after I apply for citizenship plz help , inputs are much appreciated , cheers ,

If you just follow instructions/file is straight forward - No
If you get some comfort/file may raise some/simple flags - May be
If you have something to explain/file a bit complex - Yes
