Citizenship application payment receipt validity

Hello All,

We had applied for my wife's citizenship application in October, 2019 last year. Her application got returned 2 months later saying the 1095 days Canada rule is not satisfied.

We are planning to apply again this month end. I have few questions regarding the payment receipt's validity.

1. Is it 1 year ? Or there is no expiry ?
2. We are planning to apply on 1st September 2020. Will it be good till the processing of the application in case the duration is 1 yr ?
3. Is it better to request for refund and pay again for the new application that we are planning to will submit ?

Please advice on the best possible way to go about it.

I think your payment should be good but if you don't want to take any risks, pay and attach new receipt and request refund for old payment
