I have my test scheduled for Feb 21st; however I want to visit my country for end of March for 15 days; what happens if my Oath ceremony happens in that time? Is it safe if I travel for around 15 days? Or I should not travel? Can I reschedule it if I'm not here? Does rescheduling make the process much slower?

Hello there,
We passed our test on Feb 8th and requested the citizenship officer to postpone our oath ceremony to a later date in May as we are traveling soon. My application status still remains the same. Will there be any update in the application, after the test completion alone? Is there anyone in the same situation?

We were in the same situation. After the test during the interview process, you can explain your situation to the citizenship officer about your travel plans so they will make a note that your oath ceremony will not be at the same time.

Good day,
I'd like to update my case. Decision Made is now shown on my ECAS. It changed today, Sat. 2/17

I passed the test on 2/6 - 20/20.. My interview was long, a lot of questions form the citizenship agent.
She told me that I could expect the invitation to take the oath of citizenship between 2-3 months after the test.
Guys, this process has been so stressful to me. As you know, I was RQ'ed + Fingerprints + Reference + Travel records...
All was sent on time. It seems to me it's coming soon.

Patience is a great virtue, and I have to admit that I still need to learn how to wait - as you know, this is not easy.
A lot of thoughts and ideas come and go, it's just a matter of time and patience.
Every time someone reports an update here, he/she encourages the other people to be patient. What I have to say is that I know what other applicants -specially those who have been waiting for a long time - are going through. I wish you the best of success and I hope everyone here will have that update coming soon!
