Citizenship Application - February 2020

Hi All,

I had applied for my citizenship and Canada Post said my application was delivered on February 10th 2020 to the Citizenship Grant Office in Sydney, however I still have not received an email from CIC saying that they have received my application. I checked the online application status system and it still does not show anything. Is there some place I can go to verify that they actually received it. Can I call someone?

The first email you will get after submitting your application will be the acknowledgment and that will be when your application is complete and without error.. Just hang on till they resume back to work.

It's now July and I still haven't received a reply to my application in February. I have no idea whether they have received my application or is it lost somewhere. I understand that COVID-19 is delaying applications, but is this normal for it to take this long? Is there some other way I can check that they indeed have my application? Back in February, I had received a confirmation from Canada Post that my package was delivered successfully, but other than that I have received no word yet.

Watch the Jan2020 thread as cic started this month in issuing acknowledgment. So once they are finished with Jan then they will start for Feb,
