Citizen accompany new permanent resident during landing interview?

Hello,
Can a Canadian citizen (myself) accompany a new permanent resident and dependents (my wife and kids) at the landing interview at the airport? Or will I have to go through the citizen line at immigration and my wife and kids will be by themselves at the new immigrant line? Many thanks for any insight.
