It seems the duties in the reference letter
need to match 80% of the NOC code job duties description. So if I am a circuit design engineer (PCB level and transistor level), which NOC code I should choose from?

I have head that lots of rejections are because of tiny mismatch in the NOC code and duties. Does anyone know about this? Really confused about it.

Get your detail job scope and email to NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca

They can advise you on your NOC

While selecting the NOC, the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the NOC should be a close match with the actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you at the respective job. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).

Also, NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation match in the NOC list. If you are not sure of your NOC, write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your job title, duties and responsibilities and educational qualification, they will help you find the closest fit.

Hi,

I am analog circuit design engineer with 14 years of experience in High Speed Design. I am planning to apply for PR in canada, I could like to understand the Job market for Circuit design in canada. Also, it will help to know which province should I target?

Thanks in advance.
