CIC send medical test request for Visitor record extension but ticket booked already

Hi All,

We have applied for visitor record extension for my mother in law in May-2020 as she couldn't travel to India due to Covid-19. CIC sent a medical test request on 24th July but we have ticket booked for her for Aug 03. when we try to book medical test appointment we couldn't get before Aug-03 in London, Ontario. Can anyone please let me know if she should complete her medical test before travelling to India or what will be the implications if she don't go under medical test. Also since she don't have the visitor record extension yet, what documents should show in immigration.

Apply to withdraw the extension noting that she is leaving August 3. Do this a little closer to August 3.

It sounds like she has already remained past her first 6 months so if the extension is withdrawn she would have overstayed. She will have to do the medical when she return home. You should also contact CIC when she returns home to say that she has left Canada.

That's correct, she stayed more than 6 month now. So will complete the medical test once she return to India. Since she don't have visitor record approved yet, what document she should present in airport(Canada immigration) to prove she stayed over 6 months legally ? All we have is application submission confirmation letter and medial request letter.

She doesn't need an exit visa. Nobody will ask.
