Hi friends,

CIC returned my AINP package as I missed to sign one of the forms. It took 3 months for them. Now, I've renewed my passport so I'll have to update the forms but do I need a new PCC from India as well to show my passport number on it? Also, will cic again take 3 months to give my AOR ? Please help!!!

PCC must be issued no more than three months before you apply, so in any case you will need to renew it.

But they asked only to sign on the form explicitly mentioned by them so still I need a new PCC ?

You need a completely new package with all valid documents. If any document is not valid, the package will be returned again.
There are no guarantee AINP gives you a nomination after 3 months, 9, 20, at all.

I had same situation, first time the package was returned after 4 months and after second sending I got nomination in 2 months. 2 months is not a rule, it is just a random decision. It could be 24 months or forever waiting.

I already got ainp nomination. The package is returned from CIC for not signing schedule 4 form

It does not change the general rule - all documents must be valid, noone is going to look at your previous sending attempt, they will verify the package from scratch.

On federal level AOR is generally given with pretty stable timeline, I would not expect big changes from first attempt.
Just make sure CIC receives the new package before your nomination expires.

In the checklist, it says that PCC are valid for one year. In my case, my PCC has old passport number but it's still valid. Do I still need a PCC with new passport number on it?

How long does it take to get new PCC?
if it takes too long and you have no time till february (or when your ainp expires), then send old pcc. They will ask for new ones after you get aor anyway. They send reminder emails to submit pcc if you didnt at first time.

Thanks Anatalia. My AINP is valid until Feb. Since the VO didn't request anything else, I submitted my package today with the new version forms. Hope it works out this time and I get my AOR.
