CIC need some more document please help

Hello

Just need some help here, CIC just sent me an email.

the email says : In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from the Philippines.

I am sponsoring my wife who is a US Permanent Resident for almost 4 years now. My wife became PR and came to US when she was 20 years old and she's 24 now, so I don't understand why they have to ask for a police certificate from Philippines when she's already PR in US for 4years.

CIC requires a PCC (police clearance certificate) for every country where the PA has resided (more than 6 months) since age 18.

Since she's originally from the Philippines, and came to the US at age 20, CIC needs the PCC to cover her time there from ages 18 to 20.

yes they require from 18 years of age .....some country/city provide pcc online these days?

Ohh got it. I have to ask my wife to get Police clearance right away then. It's just really sad that I have to wait for a long time for the application to be process again.
