CIC is not a Recipient of your WES Evaluation Report

Hi Friends,

Last week I got an email from WES, stating that

"In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your application, they will need to review your evaluation report through using WES’s online service. In order to allow CIC to access this service, you will need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your WES evaluation report.

Please order a Duplicate Report as soon as possible by visiting wes website. "


I have already submitted my file along with WES report to CIC and its been more than a two months now. Is this some new requirement from CIC?

when we order for duplicate report thru online, we need to add 'CIC-FSWP' as an additional recipient so that CIC can look and confirm our WES evaluvation thru online.

Dear chandanthour,

there are two possible scenarios:
1. If you are a new applicant of ECA, it seems that you opted for "WES BASIC PACKAGE" service instead of the "FSWP CREDENTIAL ASSESSMENT PACKAGE". The basic package doesn't facilitate online view of your report.
2. If you are an older applicant then you didn't add 'CIC-FSWP' as an additional recipient so that CIC can view your ECA report online for verification of authenticity of ECA.

In either case rush to WES website and place a new order of ECA and added Citizenship and Immigration Canada as additional recipient of report. It will cost you a few more bucks but will save you losing your PER.

i have done my evaluation in may 2013, still am i required to do this? i have just send a hard copy of my ECA report with my application.

By older applicant i mean people who had an ECA report before WES was declared as a designated organization by CIC.

Did you opt for "FSWP package"?? The FSWP package by default includes an electronic copy of your report viewable by CIC.

I have received the same email from WES.

I ordered the FSWP Credential Assessment Package. WES sent me two copies of reports from which I sent one report to CIC. "An electronic copy of your report viewable by CIC" is a part of the package as given on wes.org/ca/fswp/fees/

Now, even though I had already sent one copy of report to CIC, the "order a duplicate report"
link compels you to buy a 30$ report copy in addition to the online access to CIC for a total of 67.8$. This is unreasonable.

As I did not intend to delay the processing of my CIC application, I have made the unfair order. However, I maid a complaint to WES through their email.

After the complaint to WES, they have returned my money and replied that there was a problem with their system.

This is interesting! So after paying for the WES report, we have to still order a duplicate copy so CIC can view? Was that not supposed to have been in the initial order?

I also received the same email and also paid again just to avoid any further delay. As you did I also sent them an email. Lets see whether I get my money back.

Do not worry you will hear from them soon. Did you not order the FSWP package when applying for ECA?
