I applied under EE in December 2016 and have received an email last week from CIC to attend an interview in 2 weeks time, and this after my medicals were passed in January 2017. I have gone through the whole 245 pages of the only forum topic addressing interviews, which was started by mikeramma in 2006.

I'm not even sure the link above is helpful for me because it contains info mainly for folks who submitted PR application pre-Express Entry.

Please has anyone else on EE with pending application been asked to attend an interview? Any tips or help will be really appreciated. ???

You are the first case I have seen reporting an interview on the forum for EE. I wish you all the best. Please do share your experience for the benefit of others. Sorry I can't be on any help.

May I know what your case is and why your file has triggered an interview request. Is your experience / education, etc different from others?

Interesting!

I hope someone out here helps you out, whilst I follow this topic.

You aren't the first:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-pr-interview-t351465.0.html

Just google "Express entry interview IRCC".

That person eventually got PR, by the way.

Going by that link, it does make me nervous. In FSW Outland from the UK.

I wouldn't be too worried. You might have just been unlucky and picked for quality control to check for frauds, etc.
did they give you a list of documents to come along with?
As long as you job experience is not forged you will be fine.

When the officer ask you a question, do not pause to think about your answer. Answer without hesitation!
You also need to give us more details about your application.

What visa office?
What is your Noc?
Pnp or ?

I hope it turns out perfect for you.

All the best!

I'm a medical doctor and I'm the principal applicant on behalf of hubby and baby. 5 years working experience in Emergency Room and as General Practitioner with my own practice. I'm 30 so maybe they don't believe i've accomplished all that my references say i have so far?
They requested updated employment reference and proof of salary of my latest job, also bank proof that the (equivalent of) $25,000 gift deed that my parents gave me is still in my account. I'm freaking out, is it probably to grill me about job description and experience or POF or both? Btw, they only want to see me, not my husband.

You're the PA so they only want you. Relax. As long as you can back up everything with new letters and evidence you have nothing to hide. Be positive and don't try and lie at all. Just be honest. :)

Visa Office - Pretoria South Africa
NOC 3112 - General Practitioner
Not PNP, just straight EE application, got ITA in Dec 2016 and medicals passed 3 weeks after AOR. Since then nothing till this interview request

Thanks, I pray it goes well too!

I have also heard of a guy who was invited for interview and their guess was because of his short employment as a civil servant.
He got his ppr last year.
I hope everything will be fine with your application as well.

fingers crossed and please keep us posted

All the best, as others said, first case I am personally hearing too.

But as long as you have all the papers in hand and can corroborate your background, it should be okay. Just be sure that whatever dates/periods/salary/jobs etc you mention line up with what you stated in your application personal/work/address history. All the best!

Just go in with all requested documents and more if you have them.
Job offer letters, pay slips etc.

it is just a routine quality check.
It's okay to be nervous. You are only human.

You will be fine.

Congrats in advance!
