CIC Application PDF forms not all working???

Is anyone else having difficulty opening some of the application forms on the CIC website?


I can not seem to open 3 of the forms

Application to Sponsor, Sponorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)
Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP)


Can someone let me know if they are successfully able to open these? I have tried updating my adobe. I've tried multiple computers to no avail. I called the call centre and they were of no help, stating they could not send me the pdf forms.

Because they are a unique PDF file format, you can't open them in the browser. Those three forms you listed won't open up as a web preview (or in any other form of a preview).

What you can do is right click on the link, and save the file to your computer HD.

You then can open them with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader once you've successfully downloaded them.

You're not going crazy; they simply can't be previewed within a browser.

The forms would only work on internet explorer for me. I had to download it, heh.

Right-click and "save link as..."

Use internet Explorer It will work.

Thanks Ineffable - I was able to get them that way.

I'm sure I'll have a million more questions now that I am preparing to start this process.
