CiC adding additional 4 months to processing times

I received one of mine just now. But they skipped one request. First one ordered on Oct 27, and 2nd one ordered on Nov 14. I received one notes today and found out they altered my request date to be Nov 17 and generated the notes on the same day.

At least you got something. I think you directly order from ATS right? I did thorough getgcms.

Why did you get that through a 3rd party service if you are in Canada....? It's free for people in Canada

I didn't realize, after ordering it.. I realized that I should've gone with ATP.

Hi all members and seniors I just want to let you know I got GCMS note on 1st of dec 2017 and it’s says eligibility:- review required
Medical:- passed
Rest of things not started
But before I got GCMS note I contacted my MP and Explained my situation about file process and also requested him to call or send email to cic for my file status and he did it last week on 29th of November and he got this reply yesterday from cic :-
They are currently in the process doing background verification and the earliest that this file can be finalized is in January 2018
So it means I thought they will take 3-4 month more for process may,June 2017 CEC application

Wow! This is not good. The wait time is just long. I submitted my application in May and CIC requested for additional information on November 15 and I have given it to them but still haven’t received any information from them. Maybe I need to contact my MP

From my personal experience, i do not know if this is true. I applied for my PR on September 8 207. By October 31st, I had my passport request in hand.

Called the call center last and spoke with the agent who told me that background check is in progress. Does anyone have an idea how long this is supposed to take? I am so very worried. Please what is the next action? Should I contact the MP's office?

Once your BG done then you will get ppr and one more question did you order GCMS not ???

you're one of the lucky ones... we're passed our 6 months & been told additional 3-4 months
Its ridiculous

Its def gonna be feb/March. Xmas is so slow

Yeah you are right because of xmas time they are really slow in some applications like April, May and June
