CiC adding additional 4 months to processing times

Hi All

Just wanted to give everyonethe heads up , i spoke to an agent this morning & she advised CIC have added another 4 additional months onto CEC Applications in addition to the 6 months they say due to a high volume of applications. My AOR is June 15, she said it could be March next yr until i get it

Its the 2nd agent thats said it 'to manage expectations'. Everything is fine with my application & im not in SS...

Ive really lost hope now

Really? I got my AOR on August 14th and PPR request on Nov 8th. Currently waiting to receive COPR. I'm inland.

Realistically though, CIC would want to clear up their shelves. They'll have to finish processing old application to receive new ones. Since May and most of June CEC application have been pretty much cleared up, yours should be processed soon. Hang in there!

I am also June 12... But did not get PPR now.

As per GCMS note, waiting for officer review.

It’s already 7 month after got my aor 18thApril 2017 and still in progress Anyone get ppr yet who got their aor in April I’m inland CEC with LMIA with my spouse and only medical passed during 7 month.

Fine Carly44. my BG is in NA from 2017-09-20. no progress after that as per GCMS.

sec-not started. not sure, security is not required or not started in this case.

U spoke to an agent ? u meant the lawyer who did the application for u ? Im sure it's a fake news. If they added 4 months to the process, they would notify in CIC website.
