I started a job in January 2016 and it is my current job. During this period, I got a position in an association in March 2016 and studied part-time in March 2016 to March 2017. Do I start listing my current job? I ask because I started doing this work in January 2016 before the other activities. It's a bit confusing as to how CIC want this information provided.

To be honest I'm not certain it matters the date order it's in. My history was all over the place date-wise because I kept remembering things to add. The system isn't designed for you to insert/move rows so...they had to deal with it because I wasn't retyping all of that. lol

Thanks so much for the information. I guess it depends on the immigration officer whether they accept it or not but useful to know! I kept deleting stuff... Now I have typed everything in a MS Word document and going to copy it over. I really think they should create some kind of automated system or allow you to shuffle entries around. Lol!

Oh I agree they should. I've also never read about a case where the applicant was rejected because their history wasn't in date order. I doubt it would be done. More likely, the officers would continue to complain and CIC would eventually do a project to update their system (with that functionality). We'll ignore the fact they'd probably break the system for a few weeks..
