Hi altruists,

My questions are are the bottom of this post. Would appreciate a lot if you took the time to go through my issue.

FSW-O EE
Applicants: 30 yo main applicant, 30 yo spouse, 1.8 year old dependent
ITA; 8 Dec 2020
AOR: 25 Feb 2021
BIL: 16 Mar 2021
Biometric Updated: 17 Mar 2021
MEP: "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam"

I am in a situation and this is making me very nervous. I have seen in many forums and facebook groups that people now a days get BIL and MEP at the same date. However, We have not received "medical passed" as of today. Today is the 34th day since AOR. We did our medicals in 24th Feb 2021. While on the medical checkup, the physician asked a lot of questions about whether my daughter has any speech delay, have we considered any speech therapy etc. [She is 1 year and 9 months old now and to us, she seems fine, active, playful. There might be a little speech delay, but don't think this is a major concern - she says a few words and responds.] We completed the test and uploaded the upfront document to get AOR.

After a few days on March 3, 2021, we got a mail from regional medical office in Delhi [We are from a different country], asking the following questions about my daughter. They told us to contact the panel physician for anything else.

"please provide details on the following <Under which category is the applicant applying for Canadaian Immigration and what is the province of destination and duration of Stay in Canada. Applicant need not be called for consultation."

We submitted the following answer:

"X is my dependent child. We have applied for PR (Canada) under express entry/federal skilled worker. We intend to go to Toronto, Ontario. As the application is for PR, we intend to migrate there."

The physicians office notified us that they have submitted this answer in the system and no further action is required from me. But as still now, the medical is not passed, we called the physician's office again. They told us that they have done their part and showed me the medical report [unofficially, as I requested]. I can see a lot of red flags in my daughter's file. Also, I can see the questions still written there ["under which category.... what is the province... duration....."]. It makes me wonder if they had uploaded my answers in the system or not.

Report:
https://ibb.co/7pb3Xq7
https://ibb.co/g9hX7h0
https://ibb.co/4NJsgR3 [questions in the report]

Post this, we voluntarily visited a pediatric development specialist. He said there is no issue with Autism, but suggested that we go through a month of speech therapy. We will do this regardless.

My questions are:
1. Should we voluntarily share the pediatric prescription/diagnosis with CIC through webform? Stating that she does not have any other complications than 3 months of speech delay? Will this be the right move or it might effect our application negatively, considering, they have not asked for any such verification?

2. Should we contact the panel physician again about why these questions still appear on the report ["under which category.... what is the province... duration....."]? Am i wrong in thinking that these questions should be replaced by the answers I provided?

3. Can my application be rejected due to this? I read in some forums that they reject applications if they think it will be a burden on the healthcare system.

Any advice or insight would be really helpful.

Thank you

Hey,
I seem to have faced similar line of question from the Physician for my kid who is just 1 year and 8 months old. We had a medical exam on Mar' 27 2021. I may be in same boat although I am waiting for updates on the account information and have not received any call from physicians office.

Hi Irtiza,
Sorry for delayed response, I have been juggling between work and priorities.
As of now it shows reviewing for all three of us, myself, my wife and my son. I received a call today from the physician's office, they want me to bring my son to hospital again for pediatric consultation, the rep indicated that he is underweight and needs to be vetted. I am going again on Thursday. I think this will apparently delay the process and I might find myself stuck. Will keep you posted on how it goes on Thursday.

HI,
So I took my kid to hospital on Thursday, the primary physician in immigration team was very kind and certainly knew her way around kids, she was compassionate and came across very genuine and spoke to details and process. She was very calm and efficient in her work despite having a busy day.

The problem was with the pediatrician who was to consult, the wait time was horrible, finally we were in at his door, he didnt even say hello to my kid, didnt even him touch him, no pulse check, no stethoscope, no observation at all, my kid just sat there looking at us as doctor was speaking to us, he said he will need the past medical history, all files from birth to date, vaccine schedule etc. Unfortunately, I did not bring that along with me, neither was I told to bring but I realized I was stupid enough not to think of it. I told him we come from far out of town, and he says to me I am not trying to harass you, he just needs to follow the procedures. He set me up for another appointment on Saturday morning to which I have agreed.

Apparently, I received an email this morning from IRCC regarding my own Medical Exam, the primary applicant. They need further test, no additional details as to what test, they said visit your immigration Physician. I am going anyway tomorrow so will try to find out.

I could have expected worse, it is what it is, I think this will be delayed beyond my expectations.

Quick question, are you stuck at review stage for everyone or just for your daughter?

Sorry to hear about your experience. I hope everything will be sorted out tomorrow. Best wishes to you.

I don't know how to check individual medical results. My status just shows "we are reviewing the results of your medical exam". As they only emailed me about my daughter, I am guessing its only related to her.

Do you think I should email them (webform) and ask if anything else is needed from me, or just wait couple more weeks?

Hey,

You can actually review status of each application from Account Home page, all applications are listed there and you have to click on check full application status for each application it will show the status for that specific application.

The first email you received from IRCC about further medical test, did it have UCI number? each applicant has a different UCI number.

Hi, the account home page I only have MY permanent residency application. And once I go inside I can see my wife and daughter as dependants. However, I can not see individual medical results there. Not sure what i am doing wrong.

Also, in the first email from regional medical office, they mentioned UCI which was for my daughter only.

Hi,
May be PR applications are processed differently, I am not sure. I applied for Student as primary application, dependent wife and kid, I can see all three applications with their statuses ex biometrics, medical, interview etc separately.

I went to the hospital today and met with pediatrician, showed him all past records from birth to date for my kid, he reviewed it, also made some general observation of my kid, asked questions and seek his attention by calling out his name. He finally concluded his finding as normal, the growth is consistent and wrote in caps "NOT FAILING TO THRIVE". He assured me that everything is fine and handed me the report to submit to primary immigration physician. That was assuring and I was relieved.

Personally, for me they have asked for additional tests for TB, Its a long arduous process, I have to visit the hospital for three consecutive days in a row to submit samples of my sputum, I booked coming Monday-Wednesday, they will be tested in lab and cultured, results will be out after only 8 weeks, will need another X-Ray at the end of three months that will be around mid July. I am aware of this process as my dad had a similar run for UK Visa in the past, he went through the sputum test and came out winner at the end of three months. I am hoping and praying for same, am trying to harbor patience at the moment.

I would recommend you reach out to your physician again and confirm if their system shows the medical exam has been submitted and that there are no pending tasks from their side, separately, please reach out and fill the webform on IRCC to enquire on status of your application. Please describe in detail your last visit to physician including dates and concluding meetings notes, ask if they need anything else or have any questions or doubts, if you have an agent please consult with him and try to get his opinion, but you must act an do something to get close to an answer. Keep faith, have patience and keep working on it.

I wish and hope the best for you, lets stay in touch!

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the whole situation. I really appreciate it. Looks like it would take some time for you to test everything. I hope you are well.

Today I raised a webform as you suggested. Lets see what they reply. Meanwhile reached out to the physician and they said that nothing is pending from their end.

I will let you know if anything changes.

Thank you

Be very patient. I was in the same boat a few months back. Waited for around 6 months to pass the medical exam for my son. Then, PPR came next a week after medical approval. There is another forum here about similar issue. You will find it bery helpful.
