Child sponsorship

I have applied for my child sponsorship(permanent Residence) from Canada. He is born in India and I’m currently in India with him. My husband however is in Canada, and he applied for his visitor visa and permanent residency application from Canada as the visa office are not open in India. So after applying we got an email saying to go for medical and also our application is sent to New Delhi, India for further processing.
My questions are
1. Since the medical are done can CIC use this for both PR and visitor visa application
2. If the PR application is sent to New Delhi for further processing and VFS all over India are closed how will the application proceed, I mean is there any other process as both me and my husband are both PR’s
3. Is there anyone with same situation

1. They should be able to use for both, not certain.
2. The visa offices (ie within the high commission) can continue working even if VFS are closed. You should expect though that they will also have more delays as well. There is no other process.
3. There are multiple threads on both India-specific travel and processing and dependent child sponsorship.
