My chilld is born in India and me and wife we both are permanent resident of Canada. I have applied for citizenship as well which I would get it around December of this year.
So we are gona apply for visiting visa for my child so that we can get him to Canada along with PR.
But, I wanted to check if I can directly apply for citizenship for my child instead of applying for PR when my wife applies for her citizenship in January 2020?
Any help on this topic would be great also if you can provide link that mentions about this on CIC website would be awesome. I tried to look for it but I could find anything related to it. They do mention about going through PR first.
