We are a couple who both graduated university in Canada, have post-graduate work permits and working full time towards getting a permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class program.
We are pregnant and will have the baby around the time we are eligible to apply for our PR. When the baby is born before we have our PR, what is the baby's status in Canada? Do they receive a Canadian citizenship?
