Actually its quite strange bcoz you got MR before dudegujarat. That time I thought you'll be there in the coming summer, seriously.

If I'm not mistaken you've not submitted any PCC bcoz you were on ship and didn't stay in any country for more than six months. So may be they have some other technique of doing background and security checks for seamen.

Hi Everybody,

E-cas was updated in the last few days. First address re-appeared after several months and now new line added "We started processing ......on June 7 2012" then the address of my consultant and another line saying that if address wrong to contact them.
Some members on another forums say that new line added with processing time means or could mean BGC have been done and MR should follow soon. Hope this is right and that this info helps somebody.

Regards,

Yolanda

Hi cool chefs:

did you make an inquiry with NDVO on why your file is pending for almost 2 years? You applied in 2010 I see on your profile, your case should have been in the clear by now!

Do you know if anyone in your timeline are still waiting like you? I ask because your case has exceeded all time lines, even the official CIC claimed average timeline for processing of 10 months. 2 years and more is just unheard of.

Chef prashi:

I can understand what your going thru playing this endless waiting game, which at the end you dont know whose the winner. Let me ask you an relevant question: Do you know of other seamen like you, who applied same time and have been approved, did they have problems and delays after AOR from new delhi?

Did New Delhi give you a specific processing time in months for cases such as yours? ...I have been given 10 months from March 2012, and I can contact them 6 months after, which means the probably should have something for me September 2012.

Good luck

hi winendine,
I am not sure . most of the 2010 cases have gone in process starting early this year. i am a MI-1 applicant there is a 2 year wait as far as i understand from the timelines of other forum members and the current NDVO Trend. I dont really know how to uncode the report but I do know that "1" means approved.

Sorry, I didnt know about MI 1 backlog, if that's the current trend then your within the normal process like others. I thought everyone else has been approved and your the only 2010 applicants who is left.
