Hi guys,

I do consider myself as the lucky winner of a Buffalo, NY-AOR after 27 weeks only. Wohooo...

Received: 3rd May 2012
Ecas : Not available yet.
Communication type: Email, with 3 attachments, (Medical Form + Instructions)
VO : Ottawa
Bank Draft cashed: I guess so, or i wouldn't have received this letter, (?!) but can't confirm, my Bank charges me 10$ for
(RPRF + PRF) each Bankers Draft to be checked, and I gave'em the finger and decided to wait. (DesJardins Bank)

Anymore Questions to ask? :)

bye,

IMHO in not worthy during early stages, if there is a big delay then caips notes is good. Like when most of the cases in your timeline have been processed and approved but your file has been unreasonably delayed. Then I think its a good idea.
Thanx winendine.

No questions for you , none of us are in the CSQ provincial category neither we are from the buffalo Field office. Nothing applies to us. Your timeline and processing is normal for your category and visa office.

And YES you are a lucky winner of the Quebec immigration lottery! :) Make sure you carry your lottery ticket at the visa post before landing. ;)

Hello to everybody!!!

i am new to this forum and thought I'd share my timelines for a bit of advice.
Application received by CIO: 06/07/2011
NOC: 6242 (chefs?)
PER: 21/09/2011
VO: London (....I know)

after receiving PER checked e-cas about 2 weeks after and status already IN Process. And it's been like this ever since. No extra line though, just the standard "we received your application on......., we send you a letter on ......, pls consider any delays in post before contacting us". Our immigration consultant (Global Visas) told us that we should be getting feedback in between 16 to 24 weeks after PER. Unfortunately we have received nothing to date. I have sent several e-mails to them to see if I can get any updates but no reply form consultant. I'd like to know if I should get CAIPS directly myself or I need to go through my "rubbish" representative since that's the address that's on e-cas, Also address disappeared a while ago and not come back. Pls share your thoughts, would be very much appreciated..

Thank for opening a thread for all chefs and cooks. Friends, I applied under cook category on oct 2012 and so far I have received my per and waiting for aor number. When I check my status on ecas it just says IN PROCESS and when I click in that it just says I applied in oct 2011 it does not say that whether the file has been transferred to visa office or not. I received my PER on jan 2012. So if any one has simmolar case or know anything about what really is happening with my file share your views. It will be really appreciated. Thank you!

Sanomanche, you might have applied in oct 2011. We cant apply in future at the moment ;D ;D

Please Please Please members - my budding chefs and cooks, when you post make sure to add your timeline and specify your Visa Office. This information is paramount for other members to correlate their experiences with yours and give you appropriate advice.

When you don't post your visa office and time line, everyone is left clueless and it becomes a bad distasteful experience - as annoying as hot buns served without butter! :D

Please keep this thread alive for one and all. Every little thing you post counts, however small it may seem. 8)

I advise you to look at the spreadsheet below and see others timelines for LVO who have applied as the same time as yours. Sending numerous emails will not help. Most visa offices are now working on applications received before June 2010 to clear the backlog and hence the delay. CAIPS is not necessary at this point of time.

Dear Mr. president,

I have not yet send an enquiry to LVO as I'm not sure they will reply directly to me if I have a consultant.

A quick question to those of you who are from the New Delhi Office and applied after June 2011.

My file got transferred from CIO canada to New delhi in March 2012, its been 60 days from March to May. Do I need to be worried? :(

Kindly advice since I see many posters getting medicals soon after the file was transferred to new delhi.
