I think timeline between 2 different visa offices would probably be different. I thin we should look at New delhi cases.

Applied in fast track on Jan 2011 ,medicals done in Nov 2011 passports sent to NDVO for visa stamping in Nov 2011. medical received line was added on 5 Dec 2011 and dd was en cashed on 1 Dec 2011 since then waiting for passports.

Both of us have the same timeline, I also have the INPROCESS with application received date, nothing more after receiving my first AOR PER email.

yes I agree too! mr amitalan is right, the processing for chefs at your timeline has been completed, many have been approved. Get CAIPS notes and inquire with Delhi office.

Hi Guys,
I Sent my application with( Arranged employment) on 31st Jan,2012.
Application was received on 6th Feb,
Bank draft was charged on 26th Feb,
Received a positive eligibility confirmation on 6th March.
E-CAS says application "in-process"
Confirmation email says my application will be send to the visa office for further processing.
Should I be waiting for medicals now?
Please share your experiences.... ;D

Amilatan I have already send a enquiry on 21 feb to ndvo and still waiting for reply. I worked on cruise for four years and in middle east two years. do youthink this could be the possible reason for delay in my case. how long you waited after submitting passports for visa. I heard longer the travel history longer it take to finalise the case. Qorax told me it take 90 days from the date of medical submission.

should i go with law point for caips. please throw some light.

My App was received by NS on 12th May 2011, and in process with date status since 8th Dec.

What do you mean by processing has been completed. Does this mean I am not eligible?

From all the forum I have learnt that once you status changes to IN PROCESS with date, you can expect your MR within a couple of weeks but today its excatly been 3 months after that status and still no medicals :'(

DId any 6242 applicant get employment verification call from CHC?

I know at least one person who who got employment verification call, I think in the 0631 or 6242 category, not too sure, it was a long time back. He had posted in this forum.

That said, such calls are done randomly, on a case by case basis, and sometimes for quality control. Either way one must be ready!

I got a call for verification from NDVO, please find the details as follows

The same thing happened to me. They called my employer on 5th December at around 3 PM on their landline and asked about me, my postion, my job duties as well as my pay though my employer told that the information is confidential but they insisted. Also, the lady on the other side was quite rude.

Now the amazing part.

By keeping my employer call on hold, she called my home landline number to verify details with my self but I had left for work and hence was told by my brother that I already left for work.

At the same moment I got a call on my mobile to verify my personal details like my DOB, my anniversary and all but due to I being in traffic I had to speak twice or so and she was not satisfied with it although I gave all the correct details.

My E-CASE status changed to "In Pocess" on 8th December with a line added that " We reviewed your file and started processing on 8th Dec"

What should I expect next?

Also, my address(consultant) has disappeared on 27TH Jan,2012

This is not a good thing for me since I just got new better employment on a cruise ship, I do not have a phone number. Very stressed because of this, we even have very slow internet connection.

Any solutions or advice seniors, please?

If you can tel me the timeline between your in process with date and medical received date, I would be most grateful as I am stuck in IN PROCESS status since 3 months

there r quite few chefs n cooks here,,,but they dont reveal their categary .becoz mof unfortunate reason.
anyway, i 'd applied at chef's categary,got my PR in 14 months(actually in 7 months).if i can assist u in any way ,will be more than happy.
