CHC New Delhi Applicants, Pls update in this thread

Hello guys, I am starting this thread to be informed, share thoughts people have. Pls update who so ever is getting any SMS, Email from CHC here.

i applied for my student visa under university on june 19th,
stil i havent heard anythng frm them,
mine s a masters program n
ottawa univ,,
really scared ..
pls provide me some advice ...wat s t situation more likely? and what should i do ?

Nowdays it takes minimum 30 days if you apply under university category. You applied on 19th of June so you have already crossed that wait period. May be today is your day or probably Monday. Good Luck!

i e-mailed the delhi embassy,,,but i didnt get any response back from dem, ...do i need to e-mail dem back ,,or ,,,can i go and inquire at the delhi high commission directly regarding ma issue ? will that be a proper idea ??

Don't rush.
Unless your start day in very near by. If its September thn I wd suggest you to wait another week or 2.
Sending and email or visiting CHC and asking them to hurry up on your case is not a good idea.

thank u nads ..my concern is,what if they reject my application after a long time ? atleast if they could rejected it back without 2 to 3 weeks bak,i could have re applied? why would they tak such a long time like nearly two months and provide t result wit a rejection??/

Nobody can tell us the reason for holding up your application for such long (except thm's). But one of my friend he got visa after a long wait of 65 days. You can still get approval just pray hard and hope for good.

Hi ,

I had applied for student visa under University general category visa from VFS Kolkata on 20th June 2013, while CHC Delhi have received my passport and application on 21st June 2013 and from then on its still UNDER PROCESS and now this complete strike starting from this Monday is really scaring me with more than a month with my visa, no call or emails from the embassy, I have my air tickets on 18th August,2013.

University : University of New Brunswick
Campus : Saint John
Course : MBA (Full time)
10 th : 81
12 th :83
B.Tech in IT (2010) : 8.1/10
3 years in CTS(2010-2013)


Please suggest what should I do.

hey hi,,,even i applied on t same date as u did,,,and have t similar prof as u have ,except that three years work experience,and mine is university of ottawa....,damn completely pissd off with ths wait either,,,,...really dono wat to do next ,,,,,but dont worry,u are nt alone

don say thankie and al bro,i applied from chennai vfs .....did u got any phone cal or verification done n any of these days?,,,i haven heard a damn abt anythn,,,,since t day i applied, t status is processing ,,.....i ve a doubt...the embassy ppl will update rite,if there is any documents missin or any documents which needs additional info,,,,,i heard ppl getting instructions tht they are askin them to replace a document or so,,,,,,so ,,s our application s really under processin? ths thng s breakin ma head bro...gosh ,hope thngs goes fine for both of us

No phone call or email from embassy to me. Since i have already left the company cant really say about that verification.
I was also fearing the same about documents missing but some people say its okay to take around 1 month time but now its 40 days. :(
I also hope things are good for both of us.
 
hi,

applied from mumbai VFS on 10TH july, went for processin to delhi ofc on 11 th jul.

got my approval on 25th Jul and passport on 27th Jul.
