Guys,

Just want you to know that my ecas status changed to DM on the same day I received my passport. There could be some problems with the updating of the ECAS on the week they stamped my visa that was why they did some maintenance works in April 14 and 15. But if there was no problem with the ecas it can happen that visas are already stamped, but ecas status is still in process. God Bless.

Congrats on receiving your PPS back. How did you get it back, is it through ARAMAX, did somebody called your from Canadian Embassy of Riyadh about sending the PPS to you. Info will be appreciated as I am also in KSA.

God is so amazing! Got my passport with the shiny maple leaf just a while ago. Received it on the same day my ECAS status changed to DM. The visa was stamped on May 9, 2011. Actually there was no delay in the stamping of the visa. The delay was the updating of the ECAS which happened only today! People who got DM today, your passports are on its way!!!

And for people who have sent their passports for visa stamping, cheer up my friend as CHC does not want to hold your passort for long. They are true to their word that they will return your passport in 4-6 weeks time.

Mine is different as with other KSA applicants because I have a consultant which is based in Sharjah UAE. But I know of a friend who just received his visa in KSA recently. CHC London mailed his passport to Canadian Embassy here in Riyadh. Then the embassy mailed it to my friend through ARAMEX. Embassy sent him an SMS informing him that passport was sent through ARAMEX giving as well the tracking number. The following day ARAMEX called him setting an appointment where they could meet to hand over the package.

hi buddies.........

just saw all of you discussing about me...........really feel blessed to have joined such a good group.....

i received the PPR on 31st march......my passports were received at LONDON VO on 6th April....and i have already send the VO an enquiry letter......

i have resigned from my job and sitting at home waiting for the passports to go to india and meet my parents before departing for toronto....my parents keep calling me asking when i will be home........really feeling low..............

anyway thanks to all of you................god bless you all...........

I hope u get a speedy reply from CHC LDN and the PPs back soon. Since u have been waiting for nearly 45 days I hope things get sorted out SOOOON.

I understand how low it feels when u r desperate to move on and such holdups dont seem to end. Dont get demoralized. Look at the positive side. U r at the edge of completing the process and start a new life in Canada. Use this time to plan things.
