I have to fly in July as my visa is expiring in August 1st week. Wanted to land in calgary however there is a lot of confusion on which flight to chose or if we gotta have a transit visa to transit thru London, Germany or Sanfranciso - any one here can help me??

Hi Ravi! Congrats! ;D
You haven't specified your nationality, from your name, I'll assume you are South Asian.

If you are an Indian national and are flying to or from Canada on a valid Canadian visa (SW1 visa) you do not need a visa to transit Europe (London/Frankfurt/Amsterdam)

If you are a Malaysian national, you can visit and transit Europe visa free.

If you are a Pakistani/Srilankan national, you will need an airport transit visa to transit Europe even if you will remain airside while transiting in the airport.

If you are any of the above nationalities and transiting the US, you will need a US-'C' Transit visa.

If you are a Singaporean national, you do not need a visa to transit/visit Europe or the US.

Not sure about South African nationals...

British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa and Air Canada all fly from the middle east to Calgary at competitive rates.
I paid $1200 approx for an August round trip from Kuwait to Calgary.

Hi, you dont require a transit visa if ur transiting from London or Germany. But yes, for USA , you do require a visa for transit.
I myself had a stopover at Heathrow Terminal going from Dubai to Toronto. Many use Lufthansa, having stopover at Frankfort. You can even
use KLM, having stop over at Amsterdam.

Try & fly with KLM... I just took theirs from Dubai to Toronto [via Amsterdam]... I found them better than BA [which I take often on the same route] -- better service - more baggages / no hang-ups on excess Kgs - less hassle @ Heathrow on security - better flight conditions - better food & in-flight entertainment - shorter duration -- overall a nicer experience.

Hi Ashrile, i am from Pakistan, but i did not required a transit visa , when i was going to Toronto from Dubai via Heathrow ( had a stopover of 6 hours).

And yes, you have really made a good choice of using KLM ..!! All the best ...!!

Hi seniors
I have a very urgent question

I and my family have done our medicals last year in Egypt and now I am in Saudi Arabia, Alhamdullah, I got a new baby and CHC London sent me the Medicals of the new baby and I have done the medicals already for my baby in Saudi Arabia

Now My question is, is there any problem since my baby has done the medical with a deferent DMP and in a different country?
