salam all! i am new to this forum. my husband submitted the passport on the 13th dec. nothing since then. i believe its the holiday delay. plz share time lines after the ppr? anxiously waiting !

My wife sent her passport December 12 2013 trough jerry visa drop box from islamabad and hav'nt receive it back

I sponsored my hubby in march 2013, last heard from Cic in april 2013 that they have taken the decision on my (sponsor) eligibility n have sent a letter to me informing whts the decision is. But i havent received any letter. In the only email i evr got from them also said that my file has been transferred to ISB ...

Yes, this procedure is quite normal. It takes approximately over a year to communicate with you regarding your case (at times longer). Unfortunately, you will have to wait another few months. Hopefully you hear something by then...

Sister usually it takes around 4 weeks but then the holidays, so I would say Inshallah hopefully maybe third week of Jan.

i think that too,...but i am too anxious now plus i am leaving for pak on the 14th, i hope i get a good news by then..inshallah

It simply means that you have passed that certain criteria.

but under every criteria it says not started.. but it has some sub actiivties and 1 written beside the main headings.. any idea ??

Salam, since they said they have said they sent you a letter about decision on Sponsorship and you have not received it you may call the call centre in Canada and have your receipt about payment since you have no ID number yet. You can ask them where this letter was sent sense you have not received it as of yet. Your receipt is your client ID until you get a Unique Code # and here is the phone # for the Call Centre in Canada: 1-888-242-2100 you will reach an agent at the end In Sha Allah.
