Congratulations!! Can you tell the dates when your status changed to 'Decision made' and then changed to showing Canada address?

I have a quick question. We received a reply from the medical centre who books the appointment for the re test and they are asking for a medical request letter from the high commission of canada, which neither of us received. My husband was notified through a phone call to go for the medical test, other then that there have been no form of communication.

Can someone please let me know if there is a way to get the medical request letter since his appointment is tomorrow is in 24 hours.

and yes he is in Islamabad. He was told for a re test the appointments are done through email.

You may call, fax or email them. Also call the medical office where they do the tests maybe they received confirmation from CIC. You never know with them as they don't seen to have a proper working policy. Like I mean they just work at anything that pops into their mind. Its darn frustrating when you see this so I hope you get proper news on this important matter and May Allah bless you both In Sha Allah

anybody that sent in additional documents (after being requested for them from mid april to early may) has anyone heard anything further, or any update?

i have noticed that after ppr they are on avg taking 3 months time...

also if someone would like to explain the mailing in the passport bit... you send it with a cover letter with advance payment of return shipping or is that collected when the passport is returned...

also if the spouse is only bringing back clothes and regular articles, do they still have to do any additional forms or can do without it...

A post office box in Islamabad. I only have a scanned copy of the letter so the address is really not legible, my apologies hope it helps.

I just wanted to update you guys. As you can see I applied in July 2012, the letter my lawyer received said that my file has been transferred to Islamabad in September however upon calling the call centre I found out that it's in Ottawa. I just called the call centre to find out the location of my file so I can send updated proof of contact and my recent visit to Pakistan. The lady informed me that my file is actually in Islamabad and not Ottawa. Upon inquiring further, she told me that my file was transferred to Islamabad in April 2013. Any thoughts?

hi i applied in feburary 2013, then they asked for further documents which they mentioned were missing or incomplete but we had sent them. then we sent them wtever documents they asked for and they asked for my medical as well. i got letters from twice and got my UCI no. plus file no.
but i have no idea where my file is or if they approved us of first step or not or when will my seconed process start. it hasbeen 4 months by now.
will it seriously take 2 years? or will i be able to go by next year to canada?

@Jerry, this is normal..i have similar timeline as yours,,mine was transferred to islamabad from ottawa in February 2013. (NO Idea why it has to sit in ottawa for 4-5 months)

I guess it lays eggs in ottawa for 4-5 months,,,and once it becomes incapable of doing that... they give it to islamabad for slaughtering process.

What I know from my lawyer is that the file goes to Islamabad only when it goes "in process". I am just hoping for the best inshaAllah, Allah SWT is merciful, I hope you hear some good news very soon . Someone who's medical was done in April 2012, just got a remed request so I am thinking we will get remed requests a couple of months after it has expired.

and how did u find out that ur file is in ottawa and did u get ur medical before u filed ur case or afterwards?
