Thanks @ hogayishaadi for info, i will sure do the same.

A month ago i sent an email to ottawa inquiring about status of my application and received nothing back...then i sent an email to my area MP to request an update on my behalf...and within a day i got an email reply from islamabad telling me to wait patiently bla bla, and nothing is required at this time!

I also reqested GCMS notes..and its been almost 30 days exact, and nothing received yet..how long does it take to print out and send stuff ...so frustrating with these people. For those who are waiting...and waiting..waiting.., please get on them to do things, otherwise they careless!

I visited my wife in feb 2013, should i send additional docs to islamabad? or wait till they request additional docs...it seems as if they request those to prolong the timelines. Would it be wiser to do it before?

I hope and pray someone here gets good news In Sha Allah.

No good news for my Husband & I today but tomorrow I'm going to Islamabad lets see what kind of trouble I can get into there at CHC. Cause Ièm tired and my health is failing. I was speaking to my adult children and grand children yesterday and they said oh Nan & ***** please come home soon we really miss you. I have 10 grandchildren and one coming 2nd week in July a boy In Sha Allah. And I have been here over a year I miss my children and grandchildren so much. For each grandchild I planted a tree the same year they were born so as trees do they grow like bad weeds as the children do lol. I asked them to pray for us and the reply was OK Nan.
So all I ask from all members on the forum and for yous as well please pray we all need prayers. I pray Allah will hear our prayers In Sha Allah as he knows exactly what we need and don't need In Sha Allah.........

Alhamdullilah Finally the update i had been waiting for, just got the ReMedical Request through Email.

Looks like the response time for Ottawa is 12 months, i got soo disappointed seeing no response but finally here it is. No other documents requested.

i received my passport request on 16th may.Can any one please tell how much time they will take now to stamp?

shouldn't take them more than 2 days if they do flood their inbox with emails and if they dont reply you via email make their telephone lines busy by calling them with 20 different phones at the same time.

Salaam All,

Is anyone here who has applied to sponsor their baby? I got divorced last year, and wondering what documents the High Commission might ask. My sponsorship application was approved in 2012.

File remained with Ottawa and now they told me that it has been transferred to Islamabad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NEED ADVICE ASAP

Ok guys,

So about 3 months ago my father in law in Pakistan got promoted and transferred to Islamabad. I called CIC and then with their advice contacted Ottawa about change of address. They asked me to email and then they confirmed the change of address and the new address got updated on E-CAS. NOWWWWWWWWW IM THINKING EVERYTHING IS FINE - RIGHT ?

Today I got an email from CHC-Islo that my wife needs to send a written request with her signature and be faxed to CHC-Islamabad's number ?? Coz the TCS delivery went to old address and got returned.

Its confusing for sure. But anyways, doing as CHC-Islamabad says and sending fax first thing tomorrow.

But why would Ottawa acknowledge changing my address and Islamabad won't accept it?

Hello @theshaikh, have you heard anything yet? I remember you applied in Feb 2012. You should be hearing something soon.
