If you submitted medical with your application then it is a re-med as the previous one has already expired or about to expire. Remember that the visa expiry date is either a year from when the medical was done or passport expiry date. Whichever is earlier.

Do they use the specific term "Remed". We got the medical done when we applied last year so I was assuming this is the "Remed" Does anybody know?

cuz i got email with subject Information about F*********‏

and in attach form this is written
"These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage
where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this"

nowhere re medical has been mentioned :/

Salam they have said it:
( You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this")

so best to get the appointment as it says on the letter you just have 60 days so don't delay

It was probably a glitch. It says 32 months.

Wow I almost burst into years after reading 61 months! :O Shukr it was just an error.

I didn't think CHC work on Saturdays but my ecase is updated today to say Medical has been received. Maybe it was updated Friday afternoon or evening, I am not too sure because I always check the status in the mornings.

Hey you did your medical on 4th dec n ur ecas now shows tht medical has been received i did my medical on 20th nov yet no update in my ecas infact its been almost 20 monthss my ecas says Application Received ! u did emedical ? kindly share ur experience of ur medical ! cuz with medical letter they send another letter which shud b filled up by IOM i went there n they filled up by themselve online ! did u send anything else by urself ?

great then dont worry ecas is not real picture of whats actually happening to our dust filled files
i heard someone whose ecas still says application received got visa stamped passport last week

u can do three things
1. tcs ur receipt just to be more sure
2. call IOM and clear ur concerns
3. if u r in canada call call center and talk to the agent
4. email or fax them the receipt

Best months according to the list of forum members were; February 2012 ( 44.4% completion rate) , followed by June 2012 ( 40% completion rate)

2011 members taking a hit. = low of 23% approval rate for late 2011 members

Dec 2011= 33.33%

Jan 2012 =7.7%

March 2012= 18.8%

april 2012 = 12.5%

May 2012= 0.0%

It would be better if we sort out the cases according to the file transfers instead of application filed because the real time starts after the approval. That might give us a clear picture. Because some cases are transferred after after 1 month and some might take 3 to 4 months to get approved

It was to difficult to accumulate all the info. This was an easier method. Unable to complete it in your method. However, it just a ballpark picture that gives an idea...
