Your sponsorship was approved and the application is currently awaiting processing by the visa office in Islamabad. I'm sure that ur file is not in Islamabad, its in OTTAWA... BUT DO U THINK THATS A GOOD THING OR BAD?
:S THATS WHERE MY FILES ARE... AND THE LETTER I GOT IT said it was in Islamabad... but now its in Ottawa i m pisst that they have to lie about this...

I honestly can't say whether its a good thing or bad thing because it just started recently and from what I've seen, most of the 2012 cases have been sent to Ottawa, basically all the 2011 cases are being processed in Islamabad, so its kind of a new thing. But there has been no movement in the cases from Ottawa either! Just make lots of dua and be patient is all we can do now.

Hey Folks....

I've got a question that may have already been answered....help a sista' out?! After recieving the all clear to be a sponsor, how long is it before Islamabad ACTUALLY sends out an AOR....do they even send one? If not, after how many months is it okay to check-in to see if my file is sitting on a desk collecting dust in Islamabad?

I'm still waiting for an AOR from Islamabad as well for my husband's case but I highly doubt we will end up receiving it. But I've also seen that a lot of the files are being sent to Ottawa now even though it says Islamabad! Not sure whats up with these immigration policies now!

does that mean all my ground info has already been chkd? or does dis mean now they r gona strat working on ma file?and when can i expect passport request?how long does it normaly takes??(inshallah)

What's your timeline hun? If this is a remed request, its definitely GOOD news . That means after remed you'll have PPR and then visa inshaAllah

file submitted:7th oct 2011
file transfered to CHC-ISB 1st week of jan (hubby was informed about it through letter)
11th july 2012: i rcvd letter frm CHC-ISB giving me my UCI & File number+ asking addtional documents( relation proofs) + police clearance update
All requested documents were submiited by me on 30th july 2012
and now 17th Oct 2012: Re-medical request
now hopes to get ppr request soon (inshallah)

Congrats you will get passport request soon I like to ask about what additonal documents did you submit for relation proofs .

My husband goes by Abidi in all of his documents but for some weird reasons his educational documents and passport has Abedi on it, so we decided to change everything else but the problem is our chats logs, fb screen shots, skype screen shots and hotmail is by Abidi, do you guys think its a problem? should I re print everything?

i would say since all his eductional docs n passports have Abedi then keep it soo.....to avoid confusion or give CIC an excuse to cause prob. I would have stuck with da educational/pp name. The rest is upto u....

i suggest you to also post this in 2011-2012 thread, there are alot of experienced people

Try to make your case as simple as possible. It will save you alot of headaches...
