That is normal, ISB doesn't send AORs anymore. The email you are talking about is actually an AOR for sponsorship from Mississauga, which you husband already got . If you want you can email Islamabad asking for your file number but I doubt they'll reply quick. People have bee waiting here since March 2012 to hear from Islamabad, so I wouldn't worry .

noops jerry, my hubby didnt get ny kinda email ???..... only ecas was updated. should i assume that my file has been transferred to isb? ecas was updated on 25th sep.

Best course of action is to take with your MP and push the CIC to process your case in fast track because it's their mistake. If you did such thing, you will be reject and your case will be close...

So how did you get your File number and UCI number for ECAS?

After recieving the all clear to be a sponsor, how long is it before Islamabad ACTUALLY sends out an AOR....do they even send one? If not, after how many months is it okay to check-in to see if my file is sitting on a desk collecting dust in Islamabad?

They have recently stopped sending AORs, your case will be updated on ECAS and if you do hear from them, it won't be for another 8-10 months. There are people on this thread who have applied since March and still haven't received anything. It is just a waiting game at this point; sit back and relax. Find yourself a hobby to keep you well busy for the next few months!

You need to call Revene Canada and ask for an Option C form for spousal sponsorship. Option C form is mandatory as per spousal sponsorship guidelines. It takes about a week to get it in the mail. They want the original option C, you can keep a copy for your records.

You can send the employment letter and your recent 2 months pay stubs as a proof of your income.

i got a letter in Jan 26 2012, stating that my files are in Islamabad, and today i got am email from my MP, and she told me that my file is in OTTAWA!!!! WHY WOULD THEY LIE TO US... I HAVE BEEN SENDING EMAILS TO ISLAMABAD THINKING MY FILE IS THERE.... BUT THATS BLUE LIE..... AND WHY CANT ISLAMABAD REPLY LETTING US KNOW THAT ITS NOT THERE... I DONT UNDERSTAND THE CULTURE OF THIS BULL!!! I M SOO PISST OFF I NEED A LEMONADE!!!

Was the email adress you received it from, OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca? For mine it was so I'm now thinking it could be in Ottawa instead.

I'm sure that ur file is not in Islamabad, its in OTTAWA... BUT DO U THINK THATS A GOOD THING OR BAD?
:S THATS WHERE MY FILES ARE... AND THE LETTER I GOT IT said it was in Islamabad... but now its in Ottawa i m pisst that they have to lie about this...

So I order'd the GCSM notes a few weeks ago and received them today. No progress whatsoever on the file, not one item is checked of the list. Kind of disapointing, but I'm not suprised in the least bit... I'll keep ya'll updated if I hear anything else....

One thing I did find out is that i'm not a Dec 2011 case i'm officially a Jan 5/12 case, I'll have to change my profile....
