We filed application for my PR in Dec. 2010, and was hoping to get my visa latest by September as a cousin of hub got her visa only last year within 8 months from the date of application. And now I see on this forum that most people have been waiting for insanely long period of time! It's literally made me insomniac. Almighty Pleeeese help us all!

If you have lived in Saudi for more than a year then you can otherwise you must go through Islamabad.

As far as I know, there is not a single case for 2011 that got PPR yet. The minimum time for processing in 2010 was 12 months for a priority case. (Sponsor was an immigration officer @ Calgary airport)

Nope, she was in Canada well before her PCC expired. I'm not sure what IMM forms are. Can you guide me in that?

is july 2010 the date of their AOR or from when their file got transferred to ISB or from the date of filing their application?
