I have a question and need guidance.
My husband got his visa but it is not as it supposed to be.
On his visa they put his first name in place of last name and left first name blank. Example : james edward
On visa:
Family name: james
Given name:
It is supposed to be
Family name: Edward
Given name: James

What should we do, can he travel with this Visa or we need to send passport back

It's unbelivable

Sis, the best way is to contact chc isb by sending urgent email or contact an immigration lawyer s/he will tell u the best way

well it takes almost 4 weeks but u will probably receive it with in 20 to 22 days

It took Approx 5 months for PPR after remed nd documents

oh human error , dont worry, it happens with every embassy , not a big issue,
talk to ur agent or call at CHC call center, they will guide you accordingly...

i was just searching a lot about background checks like what it is n how much time it takes so in the end i end up seeing in so many posts that background check is a hectic task . Average time now a days is about 5 to 6 months or may b more for some crucial cases on which they have a doubt so calm down just wait patiently we r not the only one i read different posts from different countries yes it is really a time consuming process !

this is all very subjective....
Each case is different from other, we cant compare oranges with apples regardless of so many similar characteristics i.e both have round shape, both r fruits, both grow on trees and have seeds in middle....

Oh sis it has been abt one month tht u recvd Visa...... Why u didnt contact CHC till now...??? Please contact n InshaAllah thy will resolve this issue as this is their own mistake....!!!

well there that's what i just concluded like the average time is about 5 to 6 months as u can see in this forum as well people waiting since august 2013 for ppr ! well i hope what i have said will prove as wrong and everyone will b with their partners soon INSHALLAH .
