First One Says,

Good day,

I verified your file and your file is being processed by the visa office in Islamabad.

It is part of a work sharing arrangement Ottawa has with Islamabad. While our office has part of your physical file, your application will be processed by an officer in Islamabad, according to the processing times of the Islamabad office. An agent from that office will contact you when more information is necessary.

The processing times for the Islamabad office are published on our website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp

Warm regards,

Second one Says,

Dear Client:

Please note that the processing times indicated on our website are not guarantees. For more information about processing times, please refer to CIC's website at the following address: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp.

sir ji, send updated documents and then just relax. like i said in my of earlier posts- the only thing CIC goes back by is visual gimmicks. if your file looks good to the eye then it moves forward otherwise it gets a bring forward date and then they ask for more "proof." i know its lousy because my relationship is genuine but i don't believe my file was gimmicky enough to get first pass.

it really does beg the question what CIC is trying to achieve! what does additional proof mean? 50% of american and canadian marraiges end in divorce and people engage in extra marital affairs- keeping that in mind the wait times should be longer for american/european applicants! but no- they get their visa in a few months. south asian marriages are generally stronger but we are made to wait.
