TRV Visa**
I’ve seen quite a few discussions on TRVs. Just want to share my experience. Hopefully, it can help someone. My advice would be to do your effort, be honest and leave the outcome on Allah.
My wife applied online and got her passport back with a stamped visa within three weeks Alhamdulillah.
The following documents were all scanned. The applications were original PDFs. You don't need to scan or sign each application. At the end, the applicant has to do an electronic signature. (Read declaration and Type your Full name)
1 – Travel History (Details with dates and cities in a word table plus copies of Visas from previous passports).
2- Proof of relationship
i) Wife’s passport with husband’s name
ii) Notarized copy of English Nikah Nama
3 – Purpose of Travel (Provide a good reason. Be honest. And if this applies to you, mention that due to over two years wait for sponsorship application, you want to be with your spouse and meet as frequently as possible while you both wait)
4 – Employment Letter (Wife’s) [Details on website]
5 – Official Photo
6 – Invitation letter from me (sponsor) (This is a really important document – I wrote a solemn declaration and signed an Oath at a local Notary Public).
i) Generally saying what who I am (Citizenship ID, DoB, name, address etc.), who my wife is, purpose of travel, my income on T4 2012, guarantee of providing finances and accommodation, medical expenses etc. and also guaranteeing that I will ensure that my wife strictly abides by the deadlines in the TRV. (Legal Oath is a serious thing. Keep that in mind.)
7 – Proposed Itenary (Ticket Booking)
8 – Bank Statement in Pakistan (Wife’s)
9 – Tax Returns (My T4 2012, My Wife’s 2011 & 2012 Tax returns in Pakistan)
10 – Wealth Statement (My Wife’s wealth statement – it’s like a tax document)
11 – My Wife’s Payslips
12 – My Citizenship Certificate (In the Oath I stated my Citizenship number as my identification)
13 – Wife’s current passport
14 – Letter of explanation [Letter explanation purpose of visit.
15 – MP letter (It has worked but I don’t believe it means anything).

**This is only a guide of what I did. All cases are unique and there is no set formula. I just wanted to share so that people who are thinking of applying are aware that online application is a realistic possibility as well.
