I have a question regarding about visa issuance on passport. My wife did her remedical in September/October 2012. I do not know when it expires, but I am guessing 1 year from that date. But the visa issued by Canada on her passport says it is valid until February, 2014. So does she have till Feb, 2014 to leave or is it 1 yr from the date medical is issued?

watever CHC says keep the papers a proof that its valid till February 2014.
It might be that they received ur wifes remed in feb. and they date it from the day they receive it not wen u go ur remed.

Yes you might be right as my ecas status in end of february stated medical recieved.

i have a ques when do they do security checks ? its already been 20 months since my hubby's file and he got re.pcc form his medical expires in july again do u think he will get ppr before his 2nd medical expires . are they going to do security checks after re.pcc or they have already done it?

he will in sha allah get ppr soon. Order gcms notes. They will ask for his pp n give visa fast n so he can leave before medical expired

I think CHC-I now have new trend and that is to wait till re-medical get expire and then issue visa. I have seen two cases on these forums like that. I truly pray to ALLAH PAK k aisa kisi k sath na ho ameen. I cant take this distance anymore its effecting both of us badly like a slow poision.

So I have a update on my husband's case everyone he got a letter this week from the embassy, and a call yesterday requesting him to send a new police certificate for April . He told the man that he sent one in Jan 2013 and it should be valid till July 2013.Person from embassy had no comment he requested urgent police certificate.This is too much its the 4th police certificate we have sent since we applied in Feb 2011. I am seriously really upset and was hoping he would get ppr this time.Still no update from mp office.

Keep the proof with you, don't make a mistake of sending it to them.

In your case, they are okay with your relationship and consider it genuine. So don't make a mistake of sending them proof, so they get an excuse to further evaluate your case and take more time for Visa issuance.

I am also completly agree with Danny bro you should not send them any proof also if possible dont even spend money on ticket and travel all the way to PAK becuase IN SHA ALLAH in few days your hubby will be here with you. just have patinece for few more days.

Inshallah you will hear good news about PPR within next two weeks have complete faith on ALLAH Pak and make lots of dua and sadqa. I am doing the same and my wife's re-medical will also expire on Aug 7th but I havent heared antything either

Bhai that is good that Ottawa has ur case, it means that in sha allah ur case will be done a bit faster and in sha allah by end of 2013. Also it means they will soon send u for remed in sha allah or ask for imm forms soon ameen.

its better to have case in Ottawa then Islamabad.
