Hello Everyone,

Just a question...my husband has now been requested to get his PCC done, what does this mean, are his background checks not done yet then? He has already done his remedical and summited supplementary docs that they requested in July. What is going to happen after PCC is submitted, anyone with this type of experience?

today i receivd a call frm chc...i was sleeping....my cell phn was silent...aftr trying my cell phn thy tried my landline...da lady was too polite...thy wanted to confirm my mailing adress...i askd her whn will i get my pasport back...she said hopefully in dis week....n tld me not to keep my phn on silent mode...lol...i sent my pasport last monday....

yes Canadian786....they asked for Supplementry forms and Required documents in june, i did my remedical in july, i taught after remedical will get PPR but it was PCC which was send in the end of September. i send them PCC in 1st october...so it is already 15 days hear nothing from them...i hope to get a good news from them this week inshallah

I did my remedical in June and now 11-Oct i received a letter for PCC. Insha-Allah in this week i got the PCC and will send to CHC-I. But i dont know what and when be happen...

Yea, please don't include your name and stuff, should be hidden.

You actually only need to include 1,2, and 5. But yea, that is good enough. Did you print the receipt and put in all your information? otherwise, I don't think there is any reason for them not to response.

I have ordered GCMS twice and in both times I got it within the month. Even if they can't find your information they should have replied regarding any errors...Yea it might be good to talk to MP in your case...the only eta they can give is based on the time frame on CIC's website. Which is like 26 months minus whatever time has already passed since the file was transferred to CHC-ISB.

It depends on them. If they've already done the checks and are just waiting on the remed, it may be just a matter of a few weeks...maybe someone else has a better answer for you.

I did my remedical in June and now 11-Oct i received a letter for PCC. Insha-Allah in this week i got the PCC and will send to CHC-I. But i dont know what and when be happen...

well mine was similar...i had done my remedicl in febrary 2012...im march i snt my pcc n supplemntry documnts....in may thy again askd for more pics of reception....n now on first octbr thy snt a ppr...n thy hav already done our background chek so thy wont keep our pasport for long...infact thy tld me dat i wil get my pasport bak in dis week IN SHA ALLAH...

Hi,

His background checks are not done yet as they asked for an updated PCC. They will conduct background checks on your husband once they receive a fresh PCC. Once his background checks are over, which can take from 3-6 months, then they will ask for Passport.
