First of All a big congratulation to all those who are almost to the finish line.
Those who are just waiting for their PP BACK.

Ive been an active reader of this forum, but haven't much been active in posting.

I would like to share my timeline.

Its a HUSBAND CASE & NIKAH ONLY CASE

FILE SUBMITTED TO CIC CANADA: June 2011.
FILE TRANSFERRED TO CHC ISLAMABAD: Sept 2011.
REMED + MORE PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP:14 JULY 2012.
MEDICAL RECEIVED STATUS ON ECAS: 03 SEP 2012.

AND NOW WAITING FOR PPR.

TOTAL TIME COMPLETED IS 12 MONTHS AND 14 DAYS.

HOW MUCH MORE WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR A HUSBAND CASE?

You are almost done, YAY. Congratulations they are just working on July 2012 re-meds so you should get your PPR soon inshaAllah .

Yea same here, InshAllah we will get ppr by end of October. I think in our cases they will send ppr AFTER they've done all the checks. Whereas in the cases of those who got REMED+PPR, they had to wait for the officers to complete all background/security checks and then stamp the passport and send it back.

So we wont have to wait as long for the stamp because they will have already made their decision before asking for passport. I could be wrong though.

i was thinking same thing.....i had my remedical in febrary2012....n a ppr on 1 octobr 2012...it means dat thy hav already done our background chek....n thy will snd our pasport soon...IN SHA ALLAH....

they were already processing your application thatwhy you got PPR... ecase is not always relaible so just get ready to flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

This is good information....according to this, it means that once it shows "Decision Made" it means that the visa has been stamped...so they just have to send the Passport back to applicant which is 1-2 weeks at most? so for those who got Decision Made on the ecase, InshAllah should get their passport back very soon.

my status has been changed to Decision Made nd Current Home Address is changed to Canadian address
Also, medical results have been received.

Bro, before they ask u PCC so u try to send them. i m sure they gonna ask u PCC...i did my remedical in july, i taught i will get PPR but it was PCC in the end of september

yes Finally JazakAllah. Hopefully I get to spend Eid with my hubby but not 100% sure. It's ony if my husband gets the pp in a day or so. InshAllah u will get ur pp soon in this week InshAllah

Honestly I don't know how I Allah has give me a peace within my heart n soul I'm not waiting everyday for my pp! It wil happen whenever is it meant to be.

I want some info. They do security check after requesting the remedical + pp or before? Isn't remedial and ppr is the last step cuz my hubby was in Saudia Arabia and they asked for pcc from there n he can't get it n they ask him for medical and pp . KIA chc ab pcc ka kehen ge even I told them it's very hard to get pcc from Saudia huh plz let me know Plz

Thank you for your reply. Following is the email i sent them when i applied for GCMS notes. and yes..i did send it to the address u mentioned.

My name is ****** (client Id: xxxxxxxx). I want to retrieve information regarding the status of my ****** application (********* file #: x xxxx xxxx x).

Please find attached the following:

1. Scan of IMM 5563 (Access to information and personal information request)
2. Scan of IMM 5475 (authority to release personal information to a designated individual - my wife has authorized me to retrieve information on her behalf)
3. written consent to release information
4. Scan of my Canadian passport
5. Scan of receipt showing that I have paid the $5 fee


Does this look ok? Also, I am going to meet my MP tomorrow. I'll ask him to contact CHC-ISL and find out about the status of my application. Is there anything else he can help me with? like approx time left?
